Diabetes Meter

I am diabetic and want to know whether to use a different type of meter, if you want a place to test only the fingertips are my fingers to get hurt by needles, I use an Accu-Check in the present, I will also go to insulin and would like to know what the good is the best form of needles injections.thanks people.
