Diabetes Glucose Meter Testing?

For the first time user, had much diabetes has no symptoms, so I figured I'd try anyway. Are there alternatives that will stand out with a finger or the forearm? I begin to faint at the thought that there are other areas that I could give Prick? Not close to the biceps? Not in my ass? Unfortunately, no other option. You have to put somewhere. Not fun, but absolutely necessary if you are diabetic. If you have symptoms, seek medical advice. Who is at home "finger stick" test is not useful for diagnosis. There used to be a control person diagnosed. The only way to diagnose diabetes with a blood test from your doctor. to take the best test is the A1C test. This test is rapid, inexpensive and very precise -. much more accurate than finger-stick test, and no, there are no other areas. - If you have a special (and expensive) meters, there are several new disk that tests on the forearms and thighs, but you have to make special METER Union. all other counters are "just your fingers!" Do not waste your time biting your fingers. Make an appointment with the doctor. glucose meters in the home are not precise enough to diagnose diabetes. Diabetes is not a project of "do it yourself." It makes no sense at all to collect the data you do not understand. Go to the doctor and get an A1C test and you have the answer .

Thanks for the info but what about the glucometer?. Do you think glucometer isn't a good device to check blood glucose level.
