Could a Diabetes Glucose test meter be used to test sugar content in wine?

Array probably - not be proven, it would not work I feel will detect a bit of sugar, but the values will be meaningless. But a trick you can do if you are unsure of soft drinks in a restaurant is diet or not, you can buy any of these Ketodiastix your pharmacist used to detect sugar in the urine. They are only about $ 12 for a lot of them. Dip sticks into a soft and if it changes color, it is sweetened and diet. Try Diastix site. Diastix are strips that are dipped in a liquid (usually urine) to test the sugar content. It changes color depending on the amount of sugar and can be used to distinguish between food and regular drinks. ETA: The Diastix is cheaper and probably a better choice since the test for ketones in beverages is obviously unnecessary. No, but you can buy the strips at the drugstore to test the sugar content of liquids. There are test strips for the same meter. No, because the device is designed so that the blood did not come.
