I have a number of yards around my house. Please people report that the man who sells junk. I did. For some people it might be painful for others. It depends on your pain tolerance.

Diabetes - where can I get a blood meter that takes just a little bit of blood?
My fingers are thin and it is difficult to obtain blood. With almost all the families of meters are exceptionally small amounts of blood to work now. The former needed a place big enough and took 45 seconds to show results. New take a very small spot of blood and working in 5 seconds. They can also use the alternative locations for taking samples in accordance with the forearm. Many of these spots are much less sensitive than the fingertips, no less pain. Finally, many of these counters are distributed for free, since you have to buy strips of this company. The test strips are where they make their profits. I found the One Touch Ultra Mini is easier for the best and the least amount of blood and only 5 seconds. It also comes with an attachment for you to be tested elsewhere in the body, arms, thighs, stomach. I have my love. You can get one for free at www. But I warn you, the bands are not cheap, but mine is 90 days to provide insurance is $ 35.00. If it has screenplay by Dr. not to go through the manuscript of Dr. 's your price OTC around $ 100.00 for a pack of 100 You can find them on Ebay, but the time you offer it anyway to $ 100.00. Almost everyone has machine.I Touch Ultra, and I am 13 with thin fingers, they are awsome they all use a little check on your arm, it does not hurt. Freestyle is good. I do not know where to live, but UU should be able to get low prices the most. Your company in diabetes care, they should keep. I Optium Omega and it's great. I have problems when I'm out for blood and glucose in the blood is even more difficult to read, One Touch Ultra Smart meter. They all .with a little blood

What is the diabetes meter that they are showing on tv now?
There is a meter to test your blood sugar levels in the blood, but the sensor detects blood, and uses a little blood over other meters to test strips, can be seen in the blood is considered the tape strips and meters I ask for is white and the bottom has a butterfly and the black arrows on either side of the butterfly more she said you can go to the site and meters freestyle final with a free trial because I have 12 years in grade 7 and has had diabetes for 3 years. seems little system does not detect a freestyle http://www.abbottdiabetescare.com/adc_dotcom/url/content/en_US/20.10.5:5/product/Product_Profile_0010.htm free trial on this side, but looking at my source, thousands of diabetics who have tried every system under the sun. perfect place to find an accountant and that the recommendation to avoid. I can not begin to think so early in your young life when a product is so good, why they spend so much publicity about it? It may be good, but do you think paid to say this is great, or a person trying the system and found it reliable and accurate This is not to say, not very good but the best information comes from people who used the system. hope this helps you and you have a long and healthy life. I have diabetes, which I expected to do, and I was 15. Before I went on the pump, I touch the counter pink ultra-light (because it was pink!) But now I use the One Touch Ultra Link meter that sends my pump! Anyways.i recommend One-Touch meter (I used it for 10 years and they are not great:)) stripes on them are light blue with a touch of writing about it and the cons, check your numbers with a blood test for a perfect result;) Hope this helps!.

how does the diabetes meter shows the sugar level?
we can add all or at least the result if the unit is properly calibrated, the results are reliable. It is a chemical reaction, measured electrically. Each meter uses a different technology, and has slighty different results. You can use the meter as it is. None meter gives a perfect result. It is accurate enough to use to manage your blood sugar. ! If your device is properly calibrated your results will be sure to RELIABLE CURE diabetic quickly if your'e:) test results, depending on what and when you ate last time.

If you have type 2 diabetes do you still need a blood glucose meter ?
I've just incase the next time I go to the doctors I get my blood, and if they tell me I watch the news do not want to know. Oh and by the way, if you have type 2-diabetes or not, you need insulin? I do not think so, but I'm not sure. You must have a meter, and if you follow your plan, you will not need insulin. Basically, diabetes type 2 "non-insulin dependent". You do not need insulin if they are not treated in a very rare serious complications. Type 2-diabetes, can sometimes get it right with his weight and diet are discussed. If this fails, there are different types of tablets that the doctor chooses. A meter is required to make occasional checks of blood glucose. A good glycemic control at all times is important to avoid complications of type 2-diabetes. Yes, a meter is necessary to monitor your blood sugar in the blood because you have type 2-diabetes. oral medications are recommended for type 2 diabetes with changes in diet and lifestyle, however, in severe cases, insulin is necessary (but not always). So do not believe that the insulin that the first option is the last time (taking into account the side effects and alternatives) .

Could you possibly test for diabetes with a blood glucose meter?
My friend said that you and I would like to know if it's true. Thanks! If your blood sugar is above 140, you probably have diabetes but a doctor should examine you to find safe. Blood glucose meter is used to monitor blood sugar. they are only a doctor can do a test to diagnose diabetes order "for diabetes testing. I think that a meter can give you an idea of your blood sugar was ok, but only a doctor can give you a real DX. glucometers are very useful for to establish the diagnosis of diabetes. There is confusion in this forum about the accuracy of glucose monitors. 1 and 2 generation glucometer readings gave a 10 to 15%, differed from a venous blood sugar. 3 and 4, but generation glucometers give identical results with a venous blood. Doctors are using glucometers every day in medical practice. A non-diabetic fasting glucose is usually not more than 100 mg / dl or 5.6 mmol / L. A diabetic person two hours post-prandial (after meal) glucose is generally higher than 140 mg / dL or 78 mmol / L. Please note that I say "generally" because there will be some variation from one day to another. If you have multiple readings outside this range of reference, you should consult your doctor. I wish him the best of health and in all things God bless you. yes .

What do I do if my glucometer (diabetes meter) reads "HI"?
Wash hands try again when she reads the table always calls you will always be high dr. If you anotyher meter to check that one, but if not, call your doctor or go to the Emergency Room Re-test, and if she still reads high, you should call your doctor. The meter is normally read-only Hi, if your blood sugar is 500 + range, which is dangerous. If you are a bit sleepy or confused, call 911 with your doctor, you should reduce your blood sugar in the blood, insulin is the best choice for your normal blood, exercise and healthy diet also recommend doing. say "hi" back! jk, jk. Seriously. Wash your hands, so double-check. a check on a finger and another on the other (safer). if it still says "Hello", so there are at least 500 (or 600, depending on the meter). Take lots of insulin and eat only foods without carbohydrates (meat, cheese, eggs. These things) for the next few hours. Exercise lowers blood sugar, but not much. I would not recommend it, and I'm sure the doctor does not want, but alcohol (mainly wine and beer in carbohydrates) is lower as well (this is a moment of desperation and desperate measures are required) if you did any of the above and he is going down in all of 1-2 hours to get a doctor (and do not say he had alcohol lol). I hope you will take care of it.

Diabetes meter questions please answer?
I diabetes meters for a specific project in school and asked me some questions. > Who made the diabetic foot? > It's hard to live with that? > What has been used before? > Are there any improvements on it? > When was it made? > It is very painful? > Diabetes is more common in children, adolescents or adults? If you can not answer them all, okay. THX! Ninja that I can not answer your questions, to seek answers about what people are blood glucose monitoring test strip before http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes urine. It was so strong that only told them inaccurate, if the glucose level above 300 mg / dl GO! There is one thing that still considered safe. The best change is the 31-gauge needle or stick. The higher the number, the thinner the wire or needle. And while we have changed the lancet, which often makes a small hole in the finger, and usually lose the nerves that will not hurt. The second question can be found in phlaunt.c com site that I do not know the answers easily, but here is some interesting information. It can add value to your project. Diabetes mellitus is called diabetic. Mellitus means sweet urine. The ancient Greeks used to see if the ants like urine (attracted to the sugar in it) (to get a drop of blood) The pinprick test is often painful, do not even feel sometimes bite you do not think the finger at all. It is if you hit a nerve ending or not. Take the test here. Take two or three needles sowing and press through a cork or rubber, to evenly about 1 inch apart. Now, all the needles a little touch on the arm and count how many little tricks you can feel, touch again to a new and count again. You can see that sometimes the nerve ending to miss all together and not feel that any needle. It was pretty long answer, yes it can be painful, but you get used to it and it does not bother after a while. An excellent site with some wonderful opportunities for you, it will definitely help you. Take a look. http://webmd2.notlong.com/AAS6xT8.

What features are you hoping for in future diabetes meters?
I hope to design a better meter diabetes, but diabetes is not really me. Those of you with diabetes, you would like to see a new product? Thanks! Not having to stick their fingers to test blood sugar. I do not know how to solve it, but it would be great. A counter that uses light (like a laser) to read blood sugar, instead of having to stick your finger or arm and drawing blood. There may be a small amount, but it still hurts, especially in the fingers! Ay! Ya, I agree. To somehow be able to check the blood without sticking your finger. I agree with the answer if the blood is not necessary. Test result at least 12 times a day and my fingers could use a break! I also want the meters to communicate with my insulin pump and the system of continuous glucose monitoring. The meter I have now, we're not talking about the OneTouch Ping to the pump, but can not speak of a continuous glucose monitoring.

What do the numbers mean when you test diabetes with the meter?
My 380-500 is high and I pee every hour I'm so thirsty and I'm 30 pounds since December. These figures mean that you should come to the doctor yesterday! It is very high, significant weight loss and the terrible thirst is an indicator of diabetes raging systems. Therefore, the contract ended at ease or get to the Critical Care Unit at the hospital. im a diabetic. and if the sugar is high you had better be on any type of insulin. UR still very close "diabetic coma". your average blood sugar should be between 80-120. So go see the doctor. He can also explain what the numbers mean in more detail. If this is really true that you needed to go to the doctor or hospital. Blood sugar is very out of hand, and you risk going into a coma. You will probably insulin injections, if not an intravenous infusion, begins with a thorough inspection every hour. It 's very important to get the numbers down to a more normal range (for the sake of argument here, I'll say) below 200 if not treated - or mistreated - may destroy their bodies. The kidneys, eyes, nervous system. Please trust what I say here. If you have an HMO health is strong (in words), and get your family to help you get help. The numbers tell the amount of sugar in the blood. Normally, it should be 80 to 120. She is seriously ill. The weight loss of 30 pounds is very disturbing - this is the last stage of diabetes, just before spending time in the hospital. You're probably ketoacidosis, which can be fatal. You should call your doctor now. If the numbers are important for all the time, then it has seriously damaged the kidney, heart, eyes and brain. If not go to the doctor now, you'll pay a bit "as soon as possible. Heart attacks and strokes waiting for you, along with blindness, kidney failure, inability to have sex and go to Alzheimer's disease to the doctor. Turn off the computer and make the call. get an appointment for Monday afternoon, if possible. Do not hesitate! Your life depends on it. Depending on whether this sugar is your fasting sugar. The best way to test your blood sugar first thing in the morning before you eat or drink. Is your fasting sugar then see a doctor now, your sugar high. Normal fixed intervals 80-120 Is it when you eat (especially high sugar / carbohydrate meal) so it's probably normal. But if you also have polyuria and weight loss I would see the doctor anyway as the classic signs of diabetes .

Benefits of using a glucose meter without having diabetes?
Ok, what the benefits of the measure in my BG would not even if I have diabetes? It is for a school assignment. Would he spend a good choice if your observation weight? Or calories or something? Thanks! Since I use mine to mine, so I do not die lol I do not know why, you can use w / o diabetes? There is no one who should check your blood sugar in the blood on a daily basis if you are diabetic. Your body is so wonderful automatically keeps your blood sugar in the blood at a normal level, if you have a disease like diabetes. The only way you will benefit from glucose control without hypoglycemia or diabetes need to know and sugar in the blood when it is actually too low. And for those who are risk for diabetes, so they know that they keep a plane very low in carbohydrates. They would only check glucose at times, as once a week or every other week. My daughter checked her blood sugar in the blood to ensure that they do not just diabetics. My mother was type 2, type 2 my brother, my sister, hypoglycemia, type 2 and I My daughter has good reason to control their blood sugar occasionally. I'm not diabetic, but I have a garden, because I have very little sugar sometimes .

With the free cell diabetes meter are you testing with whole blood or plasma?
Array I have never heard of a "free cell" diabetic feet. You mean a glucose meter that measures the blood sugar? If so, is it full of blood. Only a small drop of blood from a fingertip is enough. It is also ketone meters, but they take blood, too. If you think the Freestyle meter, are full of blood. See the link below and see if it is the meter you meant. The table shows that the blood used. I have never heard of "Freecell" meters. Only laboratories to test plasma glucose.all other tests, blood glucose levels. Regardless of the type of meter you use.

Can I perform a Diabetes Test using a Glucose meter?
I recently ordered a meter blood glucose test for diabetes in the comfort of my home. But now I doubt whether this test can be performed accurately with a device for measuring blood sugar. But if it is indeed possible, how this test done properly? I do not know if I understood correctly, but after waiting two hours, I drink a glass of orange juice and test me a second time? Check your blood sugar in the blood in the morning before you eat. The meter will come with instructions. Basically, the device you lancet ready, willing and glucose strips. If it beeps, place the strip (normally it shows a band on disc), Pierce the side of your finger and draw a little blood and put it right at the end of the strip bottom. it beeps again and count to 0, then read your blood sugar. You can also make your blood 2 hours before and 2 hours after eating. Find the settings of sugar in the blood at Yahoo. Diagnosis of diabetes is not a do-it-yourself projects, home glucose meter is accurate enough to treat diabetes, but is not a tool for diagnosis. You do not even know how to use it, so you bet, do not collect information that you do not understand. An HbA1c test at the doctor's office, and you get your answer. im confused, you're the diagnosis itself, not anyone tell you that you are diabetic? Impossible, A1c you verify that measures blood sugar over a period of three months, and let them know if you are diabetic. They give you a meter and learn the proper way to use it as a sign of nutrition classes .

can you test your dog with a one touch meter for his diabetes?
My dog has diabetes, I can prove it with a touch of blood meter machine I have at home? Do not discuss this with your veterinarian? It is portable glucometers available for pets, but have different settings for men. If you are interested in getting one, ask your veterinarian. He / she may be able to order one for you and teach you how to do a blood test to assess their level of blood sugar at home. Congratulations to you to act on the dog's health! I know they have good intentions, but two to be sure, I would go for two veterinarian. Yes you can. The vet has yet to make its own glucose measurement to adjust the levels of insulin, but if for some reason you are not concerned (for example, believes that can overdose and the level of low blood sugar, insulin dose or that the work would not ty should maybe go to the vets to be set) - you can try at home. This is usually done with ferrets, which causes a disease called insulinoma. Most people launch pad test, and read the meter for a man sometimes different animals, links to 10 mg / dl or lower than actual reading, but if you test a number of times to develop "normal" reading, so we can say but if this is not normal. You can find more information about them by looking for blood glucose measurement in ferrets. Also, I would point out that you do not want a blood glucose meter or the Lancet out and use on dogs and humans, as there are diseases transmitted through blood, as both are achieved. diagnosed If your dog has been w / diabetes, you should discuss with your veterinarian. Despite this, "Cap said, no, not you. You need a special meter blood sugar in dogs than men. Dogs have different values in their blood than people. Can a blood transfusion to a man with blood dog? Not when you die. Human and dog blood is completely different, and machines with blood is not getting the proper treatment of dog blood.

What currently is the most accurate glucose meter for diabetes?
I need to get the most accurate gauge, I checked my level of about 25 times a day and using the insulin pump, my A1C is about 5.3, so I have to find a meter blood glucose is very accurate to get my A1C to about 5. Thanks! All instructors are of the same precision. No matter really, it's just a matter of how much you're willing to spend. If calling from a touch, have a special offer right now, where you can get one of the two-meter freestyle. Also check out the underground Web sites of other brands and see what kind of offers they have. I can use my old "Advantage meter. I live in New Zealand and a couple of weeks the news, said the new meters have been recalled because they have a high value. Sorry, but I forgot what brand it was. If I 5. would be hiccups in the ground. I can not go below 9. Why do 25 times a day? Damn 55 minutes. Do not sleep 8 hours. I have been a diabetic for 35 years and never had any problems and check my blood sugar within fourteen days why not go out and do what I did. I went out and found a doctor who is a diabetic. It makes life much easier. I have never in the past 35 years to a diabetic clinic and found a diabetic doctor or nurse. And yet. You tell us what we want, what you should do, how much insulin to take daily.how hell they want to know how we feel. You go to your check-up, you get another doctor, it changes your insulin, you change the dose, he says there is a need insulin four or five times a day. No wonder some people with diabetes go up. Are you stressed with the changes. I take 24 units morning and 12 at night. And not to change. They kept changing my insulin and 20 years ago and I went 9-6 stone. And the thought that my mother, I die. So I'm not there anymore. I am a physician who ask me how I do. I say was good. A and that's the way I want do not want to worry about what they are trying to say. It's your life. I have 56 now, and I Diabeties at the age of 21. And I'm fine. I'm on stage and sing and play my guitar in a band twice a week for four hours at a time. Hi I'm not leaving the band and will have an injection or something to eat. This is my life. And I'm doing is great. Well, I think the meters blood glucose and modern. I'm not sure where u, is a brand called Accu - Chek of good Roche.quite. Greetings. More on the market is right now. If you're so worried just ask a doctor, and sometimes give you a fact and your insurance will pay for it .

Where can i get a good diabetes meter at?
I want a good not bad for the finger. It do not cost an arm and a leg was the best place to get in? You can have an off-line for FREE. Personally I use the Bayer Contour. It uses the smallest amount of blood from other yards. http://bayerdiabetes.com/ http://www.lifescan.com/products/meters/ultra.html Try one of these sites. You should be able to either contact you with a freewheel. im not sure it was the right place. but they will send you one if you ask the phone number 1-800-858-8072 is the Accu-Chek Systems. The parent company, Roche. They send ua meter free and 24 / 7 available to answer questions or help in any way. Used them for years, they have never failed me yet. Good luck. LifeScan has a good range Diabetes m², you can check the hot meter http://www.helpondiabetes.com Many now offer alternate site testing is the most difficult for blood to get an alternative site. Rub the site with a hot towel before injection, it should help, I sell a talking meter, field visits are old and I'll be honest, it's hard to get blood from the old pages. If you stick your finger, it makes the perimeter, there are less nervous .

what kind of diabetes meter should I use?
I am diabetic and want to know whether to use a different type of meter, if you want a place to test only the fingertips are my fingers to get hurt by needles, I use an Accu-Check in the present, I will also go to insulin and would like to know what the good is the best form of needles injections.thanks people. I use the freestyle flash. I never use my fingertips because they are too sensitive. I mean the attempt by the side of my fingers when I'm less likely to have little contact with them. I'm sorry to hear that you go on insulin. I do everything in my power to avoid it. I'm on a very strict diet with low glycemic index diet and high raw fruits and vegetables. I also practice daily. I hear metformin last December '07. I hope I can maintain what I achieved during this period. Look at the upper arm. It does not hurt. Freestyle is good. I use the Accu-Check Compact Plus and I like it very much. FreeStyle meters are also good.

Where in the Uk can I get a Diabetes Bayer Contour meter?
I recently was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I want to get a Bayer Contour meter, to help me cope. but me and my mother had a look around and we could not find anywhere in the UK to get one. Does anyone know if there is a place where I can get one, and if so where? x really appreciated. Amazon.co.uk think will sell them. USB version is not available in the UK yet. Have you tried the "Bayer" website? all the info is there. I can in the direction of the web? Diabetes.co.uk give away 50 of the Bayer Contour meter per month. (They see it as a kind of contest, apparently.) As others have said, I do not believe that the Bayer Contour meter USB is not yet available in the UK, but you can ask Bayer to send you a USB key that allows you to upload information from the meter to your computer. PS Have you ever asked your doctor or diabetes nurse for one? They are often given to diabetics diagnosed as a provider of meter make their money from prescriptions issued by strips Hey, it seems his heart is set on Contor Meter.but why? If you wait a bit more confident that the clinic will get in. You should not pay for a meter to see how they are delivered by the diabetes clinics are good (they should). Also considered to have more than one meter, at least the first two ends have an accident! So if you want to buy two, you must obtain two sets of straps for multiple monitors to be very uncomfortable TBH! I am currently using the Accu-Chek Aviva meter is excellent without a lot of mistakes, in my opinion. Good luck! = D If you really want it to look at all the places recommended above. I would say use a touch meter that can go to connect to your computer. Both my husband and I have diabetes, and we got our feet when we were diagnosed (in Britain) and it's easier because we spend every other band when we wrote the production of diabetic feet and will send a charge to pay at least to one. The reason is that they make their money on the test strip. They fall over themselves to give you a gauge on the ground. Please note that the NHS I was told to cut back and stop these test strips is that the companies charge a fortune real user problems and the NHS. And many say it is a daily review of the best way to live with the disease still has a negative, not least the fear, you can by identifying himself as a sick person every day. Do any one no the name of the diabetes meter that connect to your body?
I spoke with this man in the shop and I've seen him a device that resembles a pager, I ask what it was and he said to a meter for their diabetes, I was wondering if anyone would not know what this conversation? It's probably a pump, and give him his insulin doses. It looks like a pager, an insulin pump (CSII - continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion). Some of these pumps can be connected to a CGMS (system for continuous glucose monitoring), but the sensor in the body only takes a few days before it needs replacing again. And they are very expensive. In the UK they cost about £ 50 each. It is about $ 80 (U.S.) at current exchange rates. It is an insulin glocometer device that connects to the body, the FreeStyle Navigator. This unit will control blood glucose levels every minute automatically. Ive posted the link in resources below to find out everything you need to know about this product.

Is there a diabetes testing meter that does not require test strips?
I am for a check-meter for my aunt who does not require that you try to give a blood sample. I would appreciate any help. Thank you all for your replies. My aunt is in Vietnam, so there is no such thing as health insurance or. Therefore, we try to do something and send it. Thanks again. Sorry dear, that all our dreams. Unfortunately, so many of us do not test our sugar than we should. I heard it, but I have not heard. I think it's like a cotton swab in the mouth, but I'm not sure. It is very expensive for the bands, how to keep them going. If it costs, and your aunt is on Medicare they have plans to get his medicine, but if it is because of the pain as tight end for one of his fingers and put it on the side instead of directly on top or middle finger. It helps a lot. Good luck and God bless you. Sincerely Debbyr you are near him, of course: http://diabetes.about.c com/b/2007/05/12/non-invasive-blood-glucose-meter-promises-painless-testinghtm much to measure the amount of glucose in the blood so you need to get a small amount of blood from the body to put test. Is not it more painful when the needle is believed to hurt that cause more problems. His aunt, soon get used to the small bar and badly need to see all glucose meters blood is available in the U.S. need a blood test. was a device, once available in Europe, which supposedly could measure glucose levels through your skin. But the results were very imprecise (not enough to control diabetes), and the device has not been approved for sale in the United States. Actually, I think it has been withdrawn from European market, too. The best option is to buy one of these new meter which allows the sample in the arm, palm, or thigh. Sometimes, these alternative sites "hurts less." You should also consider what happens when your aunt is short of two meters and strips the strips are tightly controlled by governments, and the bands are not available in Vietnam. the counter is nothing without the bands! E. Because the import and export laws, it is possible that you or your aunt could be arrested or fined if the customs of both countries, found that in the package. [The opening of a package of view is not uncommon.] Just make sure you have the legal authority of both countries before each shipment of medical supplies!.

Diabetes Meter?
I have no insurance and I need a cheap meter. Can anyone help me? Companies give away the meters all the time. The test strip Getcha. https: / / you can book a www.onetouchgold.com/simplestart/ One Touch, and they will probably just give you one weeks supply of tape, however. There was a time when I'm not insurance and I asked my doctor and my diabetes educator if they had a few extra bottles of insulin, test strips, etc. that I could have. I have a 6-month Doctor for insulin and a 6-month supply of strips from the teacher. Prescription stores those samples. If you ask your doctor, I am sure he would help. There was a $ 20 discount coupon One Touch meters Sunday newspaper coupons a week or two ago. You can take this coupon to most businesses and receive a free One Touch Mini. Wal Mart is a great place to take the coupon, they are always under $ 20. The problem is that a touch of feet of shopping in stores do not have tapes and tapes will cost € 1 each if you can wait a couple of weeks, you can request a free counter at: https: / / www.onetouchgold. com / simplestart I got from here to my diabetic daughter, and came with 10 free strips. I do not know what you consider cheap, but Wal-Mart sells for about $ 65 meters. But the part is expensive test strips and other materials, it is a recurring cost. Note that if you get health insurance in the future probably still on the hook for all costs related to diabetes, including visits to the doctor, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, lab tests, hospital stays because the largest insurance companies won 't meet the pre-existing conditions. We wonder health care is so universal that it might be a good idea after all. Most physicians, particularly endocrinologists, will give a freestyle.

diabetes meter?
I need a meter in your opinion are the best you can, I think you should live a disease-Beti is a more positive view of the pump you know, sorry we can not help you there, I use the products to make www. testcountry.com and like them. Well, I'm using the Paradigm Link with my pump. But before that, my favorite accuchek compact, because I do not have to deal with the test strip, or the meter code. Just put in a drum, and you're ready for 17 tests. There is a newer version that I think might be more things like tracking your meals and medication, etc., but I'm not sure. All gauges have the same memory in the first place. If money is a big problem, the big brands are usually pretty good, and the strip is about $ 10-20 cheaper than the name brand. I use the freestyle mini. 5 others made the Freestyle Flash Freestyle aka Mini. Back lighting and alarm is great, and it's super small, fast and uses a small amount of blood. I use the freestyle flash.
